14yrs

14 yrs ago today Rich and I got married. It is hard to believe that much time has gone by. We got married in the flower garden of one of our small city parks. We only had about 30 of our closest friends and family there. Later that evening we had a big party to celebrate at an old hotel in Downtown Denver. It was a great day and we are both still agree that it was a great way to get married. We have had our ups and downs like all couples do in all these years but we can both say we are still happy to be married to each other and that says a lot in this day and age.

Rich likes simple cards so this is the card I made for him. I stamped the hearts together to signify the two of us and then used my Faber Castell watercolor pencils and a waterbrush to color them. I faux stitched the almost amethyst panels and the broken line at the bottom. Stamps are from The Angel Company. The layout of the card is Jens weekly sketch from yesterday and the colors came from this color challenge
I gave the card to him this morning and he said he liked it. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day.

the twill with adhesive on the back I believe is from Close to my Heart, it was a birthday gift a few years ago.
