Glowing Fairies
ETA: I decided I was not happy with the original card I posted yesterday on top and redid it today. I changed the stamp the fairies are chasing to A-RSPOKES and made the main image panel larger too. I am much happier with the updated version. Which version do you like better?
I have had a hard time getting motivated to do any stamping this week. I was finally able to finish up this card I started last week though. This card was made with a new fairy stamp from Alluring Impressions. I used the glowing pastels technique from the February 05 technique junkies newsletter to give them the glow. I also used an AI heart stamp that had stars and flowers on it from another set to make it look like the fairies were trying to catch something. The main panel was matted on white, black, Bazzill Hazel and Dahlia Cardstock. Finished size is 41/4x51/2.
It has been an exciting week in TV land. Star got voted off The Greatest American Dog last night. I was really sad to see her and Bill go. Andrew is my pick to win now. I still can't believe that little dog sat there and didn't move when an elephant came right up next to him. He is definitely an amazing dog. America's Got Talent is also back. My favorite so far is Neil E. Boyd. Emilia likes little Kaitlyn. I think she is cute but I don't see her headlining a show in Vegas. I don't know how some of those acts even made in the finals though. The Democratic convention has also been here all week. Rich took the week off so he did not have to deal with the mess downtown. I don't get into politics very much but I did catch Hillary's speech Tuesday night and I have to say I was very impressed by her. It will be interesting to see what happens now.
Well that's it for today. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to be back with more to share with you soon.
