Technique Tuesday Wood Veneer Video and a Giveaway

ETA: I had Emilia pick a number this morning and the winner is #6 Julie M!

For this months technique video I am going to be talking about the Wood Veneer and showing you some cool things you can do with it. The Dad card above is on the video but I did not have time to show you exactly how I made it so I wanted to include that information here as well. I used SCS sketch 74 for the layout and created a tri-fold card. I started with a piece of PTI Kraft cardstock 81/4x51/2 then I folded it in half and scored the front piece at 2 1/8 then folded it back. After that I added the patterened paper which is from the Papertrey Fathers Knows Best Paper Pack. The rest of the information about the card is on the video. This card is up for sale in my Etsy shop if anyone is interested in buying it.

I am also doing a giveaway for one package of the Wood Veneer. All you have to do is leave me a comment here along with a way to contact you and 1 week from today I will have Emilia draw a winner. If you would like to purchase some in the meantime you can buy it in My Etsy shop too. I hope this video inspires you to give it a try. If you have any questions about it that were not covered on the video let me know. As always thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the video.

Hi Terri,
As always you are just so thorough and just a great teacher. TY for this tutorial.

Hi Sares, I've been off for a few days as I had a bit of minor eyelid surgery. It's better today though.

I didn't get my Pink Saturday intent in to Bev on time, but will probably stop in to see people anyway.

Hi, Terri! I found your blog a while back and spent hours reading it! Great tutorials and videos! Now I have you in my Favs and check back periodically so I don't have a marathon session again! *LOL*

I love this wood veneer and would love to win it! I'd really like to take it to my next art group meeting IN DENVER! I live in eastern Colorado. Thanks for offering this giveaway, and I'm on my way to your Etsy shop to see more!
