First off I want to say thanks to those of you that have emailed me and left such supportive comments here about my recent health issue. Your kind words, thoughts and prayers have really meant a lot to me. For those of you that wanted me to keep you updated I did heard back from my primary care doctor yesterday morning and she said that she did not think it was cancer either because the sore comes and goes but she had already gone ahead and started the referral to the oral surgeon. Shortly after I talked to her the oral surgeons office called and said they would see me without the referral being done on Monday but the problem with that is the sore is gone now. They were going to have the oral surgeon call me to talk about it but he never called. On top of that I am still waiting for a copy of the photo the dentist took on Tuesday when she saw it but they never got back to me about it either so now I have to wait until Monday to call both of them to see what is going on. I am trying not to worry about it until then but it causes me a lot of stress when doctors don't call back when they say they are going too. I will keep you posted on what happens.
In the meantime to help keep my mind off of all this I was going through some cards I had made in the past and found quite a few that I never posted here so today I am sharing one of them with you. This card
was done using the Alcohol Ink Press Technique from the April May 2007 Technique Junkies Newsletter. I think I used Lettuce, Stream and Butterscotch alcohol inks on but don't know for sure because I forgot to write it down. The stamp is from Impression Obsession. The light green strips were embossed with the Cuttlebug Swirls embossing folder and square silver brads finish it off. Final card size is 6x6. This card up for sale in my Etsy shop if anyone wants to buy it. I was also able to get this months technique video filmed today too. I hope to have it edited and ready to share with you on Tuesday so be sure to check back then. Thanks for stopping by and I hope the rest of your weekend is a good one.

Terri--I hope this gets resolved for you very soon. I'll be praying. Oh, and your card is beautiful.
Hi there, just stopping in to say "hey". I'm finishing 2 tissue cozies today and shipping one out that I sold. Then it's on to upgrading my DeStash site, re-writing my Faerie Tales and on and on. Yep, I do love to be productive. Talk to you soon, Have a great week,

Love the colors and the layout of the card. Impressive. Now if only your doctors would be impressive and get on the ball, life would be so much better.
Impressive use of that technique...nice layout!
