I hope your week has gotten off to a great start. It had been cold and snowy here all weekend. Thankfully the sun is out today and it is starting to warm up now though. I am so ready for spring. I sure hope it gets here soon.
Today I am sharing with you a Princess crown card. It is another idea I have had for awhile now and finally got around to trying it. I also used the middle color combo from Aimes Paperytrey Peeps Challenge #2
I started by finding a crown template online then resized it to approx A2 size. After I was done with that I folded a piece of Raspberry Fizz cardstock in half and cut it out. Next I ran the whole thing through my Cuttlebug using the Swirl embossing folder. When I was done with that I cut strips of Hibiscus and Laverder Moon Cardstock, then I stamped flower images from the Petal Power background set on them using the matching ink. After that I matted those pieces on Dark Chocolate cardstock and added some lace using a new SU punch. The sentiment is from the Say It With Style Set that I colored with Hibiscus ink. Finally I painted some Angel Wings Shimmerz on the top part of the crown to make it shine then added 6 clear rhinestones to finish it off.
On the inside I added a piece of Lavender Moon cardstock and drew a border with a brown pen.
That's it for now. I will be back Thursday with my PTI Bloghop project. Until then I hope the rest of your week goes well and thanks for stopping by.
