Happy December! I hope you all had a good weekend. We are already on day 6 of Hanukkah here. It is hard to believe it is almost over. This year Emilia decided she wanted a Christmas tree too and to open presents Christmas morning so that is what we are going to do. After Rich and I got married I was so excited to finally get to have a Christmas tree. I decorated it with all Winnie The Pooh ornaments and put it up for years. Eventually I got tired of doing it so I stopped. Now that Emilia wants a tree we decided to do it again for her. Unfortunately Rich got rid of the other tree we had when we moved to this house 5 years ago so I bought a new one from Home Depot for $39.00. As you will see I got what I paid for. It is not very big but will do for now. Emilia didn't want to do the Pooh theme again but did allow me to put Santa Pooh at the top. The ornaments are from Martha Stewart and are unbreakable which is great. I had a hard time getting a good picture of it but here it is.
She is really enjoying it and I have to say I am too. Even though Rich and I don't like this time of year we always love to see her happy.
Today I also wanted to share this with you.
It is Lauren Meader's Star of the Show Template. I love this box. You may be seeing a lot of this one. I already have other ideas for it. This one is for the holidays though. I originally started making it for Mona's color challenge last week but didn't get it done in time I also didn't end up using another brown and added silver instead so it would not have qualified anyways. I really like this color combo though. The base of the box is made with Lauren's free 12 days of snowflakes digi paper
. The top was made with PTI Pure Poppy cardstock . The polka dot star was made from the PTI Beautiful Blooms Paper Pack. I also used PTI Kraft Cardstock for the bottom of the box and the mat on top. To finish it off I tied a piece of white grosgrain ribbon around the middle then added a snowflake that came with my SCAL program that I added Martha Stewart Silver glitter and a red button to. Inside you will find this
Homeade Fudge. Here is the recipe if you would like to try some. I have been told it is like chocolate heaven.
That's it for now. I will be back to soon with more to share. Until then I hope you have a great week and thanks for stopping by.

I LOVE that star box! I've been tempted to order that, but it looks kind of hard to put together. Your tree is beautiful :)

This is adorable! I love, love your box!
I love homemade fudge, but that box is the best. Funny, I was looking up candy recipes this evening, for some reason I have three bottles of karo syrup in the kitchen? I foresee peanut brittle in my future. GREAT box though, you did an excellent job.
wowzers!! That is one gorgeous box!!! I am going to have to check out the template, it's awesome. And the fudge looks good, too!
Terri your star box is gorgeous! And the fudge inside looks yummy too. Beautiful tree! It's nice to have change and you will most likely get a different tree again in a few years. Mine is only one foot high! It's an advent tree on top of a box with drawers filled with the miniature ornaments. Simple to put up and simple to take down!
Gorgeous box! What a fabulous present that is and such a yummy treat inside too. Great work!
