Happy Wednesday everyone. I can't believe it is November already. We still have not had any snow here. I am not complaining but it is very dry so some rain would be nice. Since I last wrote I continued to have problems with my DVR. The replacement they sent me had one of the same problems. I am starting to think we have a ghost in this house because some of my shows are getting erased and I am not erasing them. It is so frustrating but we have come to the conclusion that the problem has to be on their end. So far things seem to be working for now. Emilia also got sick last week with a a bad cold but is doing better now. So far Rich and I have been able to avoid it. To top the week off our dog Sophie killed a squirrel on Saturday. It was so sad but hopefully the squirrel did not suffer. Sophie was very happy with herself though.
Today I wanted to share with you another Hanukkah project. I am still in the process of making Hanukkah items for my Etsy shop and happened to stumble upon a new Color Challenge on Mona Pendeltons blog that went perfectly with what I was already working on.
I started making the tag last week but when I saw the color challenge I need to add some gray so I decided to make a box to go with it. The base of the tag was made with Vintage Cream Cardstock and the new tag sale 2 die from PTI. When I was done cutting it out I ran it through my Cuttlebug with the Linen impression plate then distressed it with Chai ink. I used Nicole's tutorial and one of the new circle dies to make the polka dot medallion. The menorah image and sentiment are from the Mazel Tov set. I created the banner at the bottom and added 2 silver brads. Silver cording finishes it off. The box was made from Soft Stone Cardstock and the Captured Card Case template. I cut an extra layer for the top then embossed it with tiny dots then machine stitched it onto the top. I tied a piece of teal organdy ribbon around the box and attached the finished tag. I think this is a great color combo for Hanukkah instead of the traditional blue and white.
My Etsychai team is also having a Miracles Of Hanukkah Sale that runs until November 23rd. You can see what the rest of the team has to offer by searching Etsychai Hanukkah on Etsy. I am also offering 10% off purchases of %10.00 or more on all items in my shop during this time too.
That's it for now. I will be back soon with more to share until then I hope the rest of your week is a great one and thanks for stopping by.

Hi Terri! What a beautiful color challenge photo and I can understand how it fit perfectly with the project you had in mine. Your tag is gorgeous! Love the accordion medallion you have made.
Hi Terri! Love how your project turned out-the colors work perfectly! And the medallion on your tag looks wonderful. Sorry about the squirrel incident. It's always funny how our pets are so proud of something that is so gross for us!!
So pretty - great combination of elements with the fan fold flower and stitching.
Love these challenge colours and your project with them is sooooo elegant! Absolutely beautiful!
This is stunning! I think you can use any colors for Hanukkah except red and green!
