Happy Sunday and last day of August. I hope you are having a good weekend. It is hard to believe Labor Day is already here. It feels like summer just flew by. Why does it have to go so fast? The weather here has been on the cool side. We have had quite a bit of rain the last week or so. This week it is suppose to be back in the 80's though.
Emilia started 11th grade a few weeks ago. We are still using Keystone. This year she has a full load. We have already had some issues with the English but think I have it taken care of now. She is still working on finishing Algebra but thankfully she just has a few more lessons to go.
Rich and I celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary on the 3rd. We usually don't do anything special to celebrate but this year he was full of surprises.The things on the right are some of my favorite things.
The card on the left I had made for him. The photo is from our Wedding Day. Marriage is not easy but I am glad we were able to celebrate this milestone. It was very thoughtful of him to get me all those presents but it made me feel guilty since I didn't think we were giving gifts. I bought him some records to make up for it though. I wish I could have come up with something more meaningful but that is what he wanted.
My sisters birthday was on the 20th. Once again I am so busy with orders I did not have time to make her card and am running out of ideas for her too so I thought I would try Hallmark this time. I have a photo of she and I when were kids that I just love so I made her this card on their website and had it sent to her. She really liked it and I was really impressed with the quality too.
Today Phoebe Comfort Dog celebrated her 2nd birthday and I was asked to make her birthday hat. I was so honored to be able to do it. It looks great on her doesn't it? You can find out more about her and the wonderful work she does on
