This month we were to use this photo for inspiration

This is what I came up with.
The first thing that caught my eye when I saw the photo was the pumpkins but I decided to go a different direction and focus on the colors and patterns instead. I also wanted to continue with my use of the Year Of Flower images and the Marigold, this months flower was perfect for this color combination.
I started by using this months Sketch for you to try again
but this time I flipped it. I started by coloring the Marigold and leaves with Copics. After that I added striped and polka dot patterned paper from Echo Parks Tricks and Treats Paper Pack #1 as well as Ripe Avocado Bitty Dots Patterned Paper. Next I cut out the Mariogold and leaves then I added them to a piece of rustic cream cardstock. Finally I added another layer to the flower for dimension with foam tape.I look forward to seeing what everyone else has come up with on Nicole's blog now. I hope the rest of your day is a great one and as always thanks for stopping by.
