This month the challenge was to use to use embroidery floss in a fun and inventive way
I also used the colors from the current Totally Hues challenge #4

This is what I came up with
I started by stamping an image from the Button Boutique set on Vintage Cream Cardstock using Raspberry Fizz Ink. Next I stamped the stem from Floral Fusion 1 then added flowers that I crocheted with embroidery floss.
The first 2 flowers were made using this pattern Nicole shared on her blog a few years ago.
I added a piece of foam to the backs of flowers then attached them to a piece of acetate so the receiver can take the flower off and use it on a project. Finally I finished off the button cards with a piece of scalloped gingham cardstock.
Today is also my 42nd birthday. Rich has taken the day off and I hope to go antiquing with him and Emilia to celebrate it. I also look forward to seeing what everyone else has come up with now. You can see the whole list of participants on Nicole's blog.I hope the rest of your day is a great one and as always thanks for stopping by.
Happy Birthday Peep!!!! Love this project with all its many details.
